Independent clinical product review

Before you pilot it, find out whether it works in the real clinical world.

Clinical Preflight pressure-tests healthcare AI, surgical technology, and specialty-care products for workflow fit, failure modes, and adoption risk—then tells you what to do next.

Independent judgment. No vendor commissions. Mutual NDA available.

A product can be technically impressive and clinically unusable.

Product teams rarely need another polite opinion. They need someone who can identify what clinicians will resist, what buyers will question, and what must change before the next costly step.

01

Workflow friction

The product adds steps, interrupts attention, or assumes a care process that does not exist.

02

Clinical edge cases

The demonstration works—but real patients, exceptions, and handoffs expose dangerous gaps.

03

Adoption resistance

The benefit is clear to the builder but not to the clinician asked to change established behavior.

04

The wrong proof

The pilot measures activity or novelty instead of the outcomes a buyer needs to defend the purchase.

Clear judgment, compressed into a useful decision.

You receive a concise decision memo—not a 60-page deck. It separates the assumptions that are safe to proceed with from the ones that could derail adoption, safety, or the pilot.

Clinical judgment informed by engineering—and tested in the real world.

Amir Nasir, MD is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, former optical engineer, practice builder, and healthcare technology adviser. He has spent more than 15 years making consequential clinical and operational decisions where theory only matters if it works under real conditions.

Before medicine, he worked on optical engineering related to the correction of the Hubble Space Telescope. He later built and led a private surgical practice, evaluated EHRs and surgical technologies, and helped develop AI-enabled voice and workflow products.

Direct answers before we begin.

Is this formal clinical validation?

No. Clinical Preflight is an independent product, workflow, and adoption review. It does not replace regulatory studies, legal advice, a cybersecurity audit, or formal clinical validation.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. A reasonable mutual confidentiality agreement can be completed before proprietary materials are shared.

What materials should we provide?

Your current deck or demonstration, the intended user and workflow, known evidence, and the decision you are trying to make. Early products are welcome.

Can we send patient information?

No. Do not send protected health information or patient-identifiable data. Representative, synthetic, or appropriately de-identified examples are sufficient for an initial review.

Can an engagement continue after the review?

When the fit is right, targeted follow-on work or a limited advisory arrangement can be scoped after the initial decision.

What could derail your product in the real clinical world?

Send a concise overview of what you are building and the decision you need to make. You do not need a polished deck.

amir@clinicalpreflight.comPlease do not send patient-identifiable information.
